Alcohol is addictive and a problem for many people and many families. Many people struggle with this addiction and it needs to be stopped. A lot of innocent life’s are taken by this dangerous addiction. Therefore, alcohol should be banned for everyone. By banning alcohol, It would have to be taken down from the shelves at liquor stores, super markets, bars and so on. By doing so this would prevent so many tragedies that happen because of alcohol being soled.
First of all problems with the law can occur which is something extremely bad this can lead to violent outbursts that create changes of behavior that is just terrible because its almost like a chain reaction. All these things are an uncomfortable situation for anyone involved. Too many people believe they can handle their behavior and that they won’t lose control or be affected when consuming alcohol. Alcohol can be very scary because of the fact that it changes your behaviors as I said before. It can also alter changes when people are under the influence of alcohol, they can make a decision that can be life changing.
We all have heard of this one “drinking and driving” each year tremendous amounts of people are killed in drunk driving fatalities. This all means jail time, fines, suspensions, and even worse to all these, death. This all means legal effects that are caused by drinking and driving you lose your drivers license for at least a year as well as a unlimited fine and imprisoned for up to six months this all depends on the circumstances. This all just isn’t enough because situations like this still happen to this day. The chance of taking your own life or even worse someone else’s life on the fact that you just wanted to have a good time and have a few drinks is extremely serious. This is why alcohol needs to be banned for everyone no more in the hands of people who abuse alcohol.

According to the National highway traffic Safety Administration or for short the “NHTSA” says “Driving after drinking is deadly. Yet it still continues to happen across the United States. If you drive while impaired, you could get arrested, or worse—be involved in a traffic crash that causes serious injury or death. Approximately one-third of all traffic crash fatalities in the United States involve drunk drivers (with blood alcohol concentrations [BACs] of .08 of higher). In 2016, there were 10,497 people killed in these preventable crashes. Alcohol level is measured by the weight of the alcohol in a certain volume of blood. This is called Blood Alcohol Concentration, or BAC. At a BAC of .08 grams of alcohol per deciliter of blood (g/dL), crash risk increases exponentially. Because of this risk, it’s illegal in all 50 States.” But of course it being illegal does not stop people from buying it, drinking it, and making the unfortunate decision to drink and drive.
Alcohol should also be banned because of the damage you do to your body by consuming alcohol. Consuming alcohol can cause cancer in the stomach, as well as liver problems. I have heard about this problems that are caused by drinking a lot. People being hospitalized because of this growing pain in their stomach. A couple of years back me and my stepmom took my dad to the hospital because he said he couldn’t stand the pain of he’s body do to a really bad hangover. It was a scary experience because I just hate hospitals and having to take my dad because of something that could have been avoided is pretty scary.
The doctors gave him IV and he rested for a few hours and then we were off with no issues which was relieving to all of us. Also, when consuming alcohol it interrupts the digestion of nutrients that your body needs to stay and be healthy. This alone should be a wakeup call to anyone that consumes alcohol more than just socially. Another bad thing about alcoholism also causes altercations with the body’s movements I’m sure we are all familiar with how funny we think it is when someone is drunk and they cant stand up straight. When drinking loss of appetite accurs a big problem when consuming to many drinks, besides alcohol beverages like beer is just empty calories.

For some people, the anxiety or depression came first and they’ve reached for alcohol to try to relieve it.
For others, drinking came first, so it may be a root cause of their anxieties.” Alcoholism can take a toll on somebody’s life it can cause a person to lose their family, they literally have a family but they turn to the bottle why? I don’t understand. Also one might lose their job it can be by the person already having that addiction and people at the work place just cant take it anymore so then such person gets fired which triggers even more drinking for them. So they even lose their well-being in the process. It can lead to your downfall and depression. It’s a chain of events that happen because of alcohol which is why it needs to be banned.
Some people will say alcohol makes the night more enjoyable this might be true for some folks but what happens when it stopes being fun and a horrible situation occurs. Why do people want to put themselves in that situation like bar fights or making the decision to drive after those drinks we all know the right answer but for the people put in that situation they do it anyway. Others might say anyone is intitled to make and decide for their own on what goes in their body. And yes this could be true but the things that happened because of people consuming alcohol like “drinking and driving” or complications to their own body is just wrong.
So I ask you is it important to you as it is to me to ban alcohol for everyone? Some action needs to happen to change this world for the better because it cause many problems in your wellbeing and in your daily life. Alcohol has bad results that impacts one’s health. It can alter changes in your behavior and cause your depression or downfall. I also ask why do you need alcohol to have fun? Nobody needs it, no more life’s taken because of alcohol.
