Do you have a hero that changed your life? Well, I do, and I’m about to tell you about her. My mother Carolyn is my hero because she has always been by my side, she changed my life, and she’s a single parent trying to do her best for me and my sister.
The first reason my mom is my hero is because she has always been by my side. No matter what I do, I feel that she tries her best to be by my side. I remember the first time I got sent away to Riverside Behavioral Health Center, my mom was right beside me and supported me through the whole thing. The second time I got sent back to Riverside Behavioral Health Center, my mom was right by my side. The first time I got sent away to Residential at Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center, I remember my mom telling me, “This too shall pass.” I also remember my mom telling me that, “No matter what happens I will always love you and be by your side.” I feel very grateful that my mom has always been by my side through everything that I have been through.
“Of course life comes with trials and tribulations but no matter what stay strong” is what my mom always said. Another reason my mom is my hero is because she changed my life. My mom changed my life because she is a real leader in my life I grew up without my father in my life and my mom is the only person that I had to look up too. Even though my mom doesn’t like the decisions that I make sometimes she still tries to stay strong and help me grow without my mom dealing with my disorder (Schizoaffective Disorder Bipolar Type) would be a struggle. I pray everyday for the lord to not take my mom out of this world because without my mom I wouldn’t know what to do. Even though me and my mom argue and fuss over stupid things we still remain mother and daughter. Even though sometimes I don’t respect my mother reviews, follow her guidelines, and communicate with her about my problems but still to this day my mom still tries to help me get better and change my life around.
“Being a single parent is not a life full of struggles but a journey for the strong” The last and final reason my mom is my hero is because she is a single parent trting to do her best for me and my sister. My mom has been a single parent since my dad left when me and my sister was born. My mom tries her best to take care of my sister and I even though she has a chronic illness that cause her to not be able to participate in all of me and my sister events that we participate in. But my mom is a strong women inside and out. My mom has had 25 foot surgeys dealing with her chronic illness but she still tries her best to provide for my sister and I.
So as you can see, my mom Carolyn is my hero because she has always been by my side through thick and thin. She is also my hero because she changed my life around when I got home from residential even though im still a work in progress. But last but not least she is a single parent trying to provide for me and my sister with an help.
