Malala Yousafzai fights for the rights of education for all including girls which shows she has integrity. On the 9th of October 2012, Malala Yousafzai got shot on her left side of her head by the Taliban. Shooting her friends too, On a bus going home. “Suddenly, a man with a gun boarded the bus. He asked ‘Who is Malala?’ and said he would kill them all if they didn’t tell him then shot Malala” In her head, shoulder, and neck, my claim is that Malala friends on the bus didn’t tell the man who was Malala instead they kept quiet, but I wonder if the man knew who malala was and looked and then shot her.
The Taliban didn’t agree on what Malala was fighting for and they want to silent Malala but it only made her speak up. For what she knew was right. Malala made a speech after she recovered from her attack about how girls have the right to be able to go to school without being scared to go to school. “Today I am focusing on women’s rights and girls’ education because they are suffering the most.
There was a time when women social activists asked men to stand up for their rights. But, this time, we will do it by ourselves. I am not telling men to step away from speaking for women’s rights rather I am focusing on women to be independent to fight for themselves.” Malala wants every women / girl to stand for their rights. And for women to be independent and learn how to fight for what’s right.
Malala wanted to let everyone know how education is good for everyone “We must not forget that millions of people are suffering from poverty, injustice and ignorance. We must not forget that millions of children are out of schools. We must not forget that our sisters and brothers are waiting for a bright peaceful future. So let us wage a global struggle against illiteracy, poverty and terrorism and let us pick up our books and pens. They are our most powerful weapons.” “This is a truly unique and landmark event which puts education high up on the agenda. Malala has become iconic in representing many girls’ difficult struggle to obtain their rightful education.”
Malala states that if we all have education we could ended people that are suffering from poverty, Injustice, and ignorance. And we could have a better future, and world. Malala showed in her speech that fighting for our education can make a change our world and our future. And how women should be able to go to school without being scared of what will happen to them. And that violence is never the answer for her.
